About This Role

This Speech-Language Pathologist role involves helping patients regain communication and swallowing abilities by designing and executing personalized rehabilitation plans. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive therapy services and educating patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Help patients communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
• Ensure effective and efficient delivery of rehabilitation services
• Design and execute patient rehabilitation plans
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patient's speech and communication abilities
• Provide training to patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or Communicative Disorders
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed in the state of practice

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
