This role involves performing special procedures as a Radiologic Technologist, responding to patient needs, and ensuring quality patient care under the direction of a Supervisor and in association with radiologists. The technologist minimizes radiation exposure and works independently within the modality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Respond to patient needs
- Support colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care
- Perform services in accordance with accepted standards of practice
- Demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and other healthcare team members
- Work independently in the modality
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Cross-trained in Special Procedures
Qualifications
- Post High School Special Training, Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
