The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care, participates in team conferences and meetings, and ensures effective patient care according to Florida Department of Health standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to referred patients for Physical Therapy
- Participate in team conferences, staff meetings, and other necessary meetings
- Interact professionally with all therapy team members
- Understand and react effectively to the unique needs of patients in reference to specific age groups
- Demonstrate competency to plan, initiate and evaluate care for patients in accordance with discipline specific therapy standards
- Provide instruction and assistance to all Therapy Team members
- Act in compliance with the ethical conduct of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Florida Licensed Physical Therapist
- BLS Certification
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree, Required; Masters Degree, DPT Preferred
