Physical Therapist

About This Role

The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care, participates in team conferences and meetings, and ensures effective patient care according to Florida Department of Health standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to referred patients for Physical Therapy
• Participate in team conferences, staff meetings, and other necessary meetings
• Interact professionally with all therapy team members
• Understand and react effectively to the unique needs of patients in reference to specific age groups
• Demonstrate competency to plan, initiate and evaluate care for patients in accordance with discipline specific therapy standards
• Provide instruction and assistance to all Therapy Team members
• Act in compliance with the ethical conduct of the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Florida Licensed Physical Therapist
• BLS Certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, Required; Masters Degree, DPT Preferred

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree or DPT
