Solar Energy Instructor

About This Role

This role involves delivering Solar Photovoltaic and Photovoltaic installation instruction to students within the Kern Community College District's Energy Careers Training program. The instructor will educate students on solar energy technologies and installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Solar Photovoltaic and Photovoltaic installation instruction for students
• Meet schedules and timelines
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Travel as required
• Establish good working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations
• Facilitate inter-organizational cooperation
• Utilize internet research, computer word processing, electronic mail, and spreadsheet programs
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Requirements

• 5 years solar experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree desirable
• Minimum of 5 years Solar experience required
