Software Engineer

About This Role

This Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of secure, stable, and scalable applications. The role involves working across the software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Design, develop, and debug applications while considering upstream and downstream system impacts
• Use tools within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance automation and improve engineering efficiency
• Apply technical troubleshooting skills to break down issues and solve problems of basic complexity
• Gather, analyze, and interpret large, diverse datasets to identify issues and support data-driven decision-making
• Learn and apply engineering methodologies, system processes, and best practices to build secure and stable systems
• Contribute to a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React.js
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale or complex environment
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle
• Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices
• Foundational knowledge of software applications and technical domains such as cloud, AI/ML, or mobile development

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React.js

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks
• Exposure to cloud platforms or cloud-native development
