About This Role

This Software Engineer I role involves intermediate end-to-end engineering tasks for system assignments, focusing on Salesforce CRM development, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. The individual will contribute to Travelers' technology landscape transformation.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions for assignments of intermediate complexity.
• Define technical requirements for assignments of intermediate complexity.
• Participate with the team to perform analysis, assessment, and resolution for defects and incidents of intermediate complexity.
• Independently tackle well-scoped problems within team guidelines.
• Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ additional years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of programming/development experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience overall, with 3 years of programming/development experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LWC, Apex
• Experience with testing within Salesforce using Copado
• Intermediate delivery skills
• Domain expertise including understanding technical concepts
• Proven problem-solving skills including debugging skills
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate leadership skills with self-motivation for growth
