Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of secure and privacy-aware payment solutions
- Assist in building scalable, high-performance backend systems to support payment compliance
- Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
- Support ongoing privacy initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization efforts to maintain system reliability and performance
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Go, Java, Python, C/C++
- Familiarity with distributed systems, backend API development, or cloud computing
- Basic understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA)
- Passion for building privacy-first applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with privacy-related projects (internships, research, or open-source contributions)
- PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
