This role is for a highly capable full stack product engineer to improve healthcare administration in the United States by developing significant parts of the Onos platform, including user-facing applications and APIs. This position offers the opportunity to lead end-user web application development while influencing product and design strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of end-user web applications used by healthcare administrators and providers
- Architect and implement core platform components to deliver actionable insights and support workflows related to fraud, waste, and abuse
- Prototype new features and use cases to gather user feedback and iterate on product design
- Establish engineering best practices and technical foundations to support future team growth and AI integration
- Help shape the company's technical roadmap, make architectural decisions, and influence product strategy
- Develop a flexible and robust UI/UX that supports various healthcare data sources and use cases
- Implement machine learning pipelines to analyze medical records and automate recommendations
- Create human-centric AI user experiences that foster trust and usability
- Ensure high security and privacy standards are maintained across all platform components
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building end-user web applications at product-driven companies
- Proficiency with web technologies such as React, Typescript, NextJS, and related frameworks
- Strong backend development skills with Python, Django, and related tools
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Customer-focused mindset with high user empathy and attention to detail
- Ability to develop frontend UI/UX with minimal guidance
- Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience building end-user web applications at product-driven companies
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of healthcare data management and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with design systems and maintainable frontend codebases
- Previous roles involving architecture on full-stack projects
