Join the Ads Supply Engineering team to expand Netflix's advertising platform by increasing content and user supply for ad monetization, leveraging Netflix's innovations and strategic partnerships, while maximizing revenue and respecting user privacy.
Responsibilities
- Build integrations with ad servers, SSPs, and DSPs, utilizing APIs and integration frameworks for various ad tech platforms
- Work with real-time bidding, OpenRTB, and auction dynamics, including header bidding and server-side auctions
- Facilitate audience onboarding, targeting, creative ingestion, and 3rd party demand activation
- Apply strong understanding of advertising concepts such as publisher policies, frequency caps, sensitive categories, and taxonomy mapping
- Utilize practical knowledge of inventory management systems and forecasting methodologies
- Collaborate with ad operations to facilitate campaign setup, measurement, targeting, reporting, and meeting advertiser needs
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work effectively with partner engineering teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience in building integrations with ad servers, SSPs, and DSPs
- Familiarity with APIs and integration frameworks for connecting with various ad tech platforms
- Experience with real-time bidding, OpenRTB, and auction dynamics
- Familiarity with header bidding and server-side auctions
- Experience in facilitating audience onboarding, targeting, creative ingestion, and 3rd party demand activation
- Strong understanding of advertising concepts such as publisher policies, frequency caps, sensitive categories, and taxonomy mapping
- Practical knowledge of inventory management systems and forecasting methodologies
- Familiarity with digital advertising, adtech/martech ecosystems, and regulatory landscape
- Experience collaborating with ad operations to facilitate campaign setup, measurement, targeting, reporting, and meeting advertiser needs
- Experienced in troubleshooting integration issues and working with partner engineering teams
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in ad serving, inventory sharing, and programmatic integrations
Nice to Have
- Contributed to an advertising industry technology standard (e.g., VAST, OpenRTB) or participated in an industry consortium effort, working group, etc.
- Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints
