Software Engineer 3

About This Role

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to provide full lifecycle system engineering services for high performance computing, large data analytics, and cutting-edge information technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for critical programs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and troubleshoot complex operational data flows
• Use Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
• Implement and maintain monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph security clearance
• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows
• Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline OR Nine years of experience as a SWE
• 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a Master's degree, or 7 years with a Bachelor's degree, or 9 years total experience

Nice to Have

• General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, networks, memory, and storage components
• Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools
• Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
• Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
