The College of Innovation & Technology is seeking social media content creators to develop engaging content highlighting student and campus life for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Source and create organic social media content, including photo, video, and text for a minimum of one post per week
- Work with the social media manager to schedule postings
- Edit raw video footage for social media
- Edit photos for social media
- Network with CIT faculty, staff, students, clubs, and organizations to gather content information
- Conduct social media takeovers
- Attend biweekly meetings to discuss social media strategy
Requirements
- Current UM-Flint student in a College of Innovation & Technology program (graduate or undergraduate)
- Current social media presence and awareness of social media trends
- Willingness to attend CIT functions and events
Qualifications
- Current student in a College of Innovation & Technology program, graduate or undergraduate
Nice to Have
- Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to follow marketing and branding requirements
- Video and photo editing skills
- Experience with Canva and Capcut
- Comfortable in front of a camera
