About This Role

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed security services at a client's site. This role involves overseeing security functions, ensuring compliance, and managing security personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site security functions, including staffing, scheduling, and training of personnel
  • Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met
  • Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting personnel and their job performance
  • Perform other operations and related functions, such as payroll, incident report review, and assisting in security surveys
  • Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for direct subordinates
  • Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary
  • Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding duty performance
  • Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
  • Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions for security personnel

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass State-required training and licensing qualifications
  • Ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard, OR service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets, OR minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry, OR an Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
  • At least 18 years of age (21 if armed and required by state)
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry, or service in the active-duty military, military reserves, National Guard, Auxiliary Police, Police Cadets, or an Associate's degree or higher.
