Shipping & Receiving Clerk

About This Role

This role involves managing stock inventory, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and processing related paperwork for a high-tech manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock inventory for external and internal manufacturing customers
• Manage all inbound shipments and perform all associated activity for receiving of products
• Update internal system with estimated dispatch date changes, and closing of sales orders as items are dispatched
• Pick, pack, and ship parts, handle all related paperwork, operate a computerized shipping and labelling machine
• Verify all harmonised tariff schedules and co-ordinate with customs brokers for all overseas shipments
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, raise damage/lost package complaints and follow-up with customers and/or service engineers on all outgoing shipment details
• Support creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders using the MRP system

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
• US citizen or existing green card holder

Qualifications

• Some experience working in a manufacturing facility, ideally with exposure to receiving/inventory control
