Shipping & Receiving Clerk

About This Role

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipping of products, diligent receiving and inspection of incoming goods, and maintaining shipping materials. This role is crucial for efficient logistics and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Check order accuracy, generate shipping labels, and pack shipments
• Process paperwork to ship with each request
• Receive inbound products and perform quality inspection
• Package and label parts accurately
• Arrange for transportation of products with freight carriers, including reverse logistics
• Restock all shipping material and prepare for the next business day
• Check and order shipping material to ensure availability
• Communicate all product concerns to Customer Service and immediate Manager
• Verify documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Track invoices, manifests, and issues with delivery or transportation
• Unload trucks, unpack inventory, and stock shelves

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent work ethic, enthusiastic, dependable, detail oriented, and flexible for varied work assignments
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs
• Ability to use a pallet jack
• Working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office suites
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Proven time management skills

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Fork Truck license
