Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing the preparation and serving of safe, quality food, and by training the restaurant crew to provide excellent customer service. This role maintains a clean and organized work environment and supports food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help to resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, and adhering to food safety policies
• Help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross train all front of house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
