As Kitchen Leader, you will ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle's food, managing kitchen operations, and training crew members. This role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen while promoting teamwork and an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures to ensure food quality
- Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving food quality issues
- Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew
- Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
- Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great customer service
- Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
- Monitor kitchen equipment, ensuring it is kept in good repair and malfunctions are repaired quickly
- Ensure the kitchen and all Crew members meet necessary guidelines for injury and accident prevention
- Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and manage Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
Requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
