Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader is responsible for ensuring excellent customer experiences by overseeing safe food preparation and service, and by training restaurant crew to provide good customer service. This role maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring time/temperature, secondary shelf lives, and following food safety policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew members
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Perform miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment is working and supplies are ordered
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
