Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader at Chipotle is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves training crew members and resolving customer incidents while ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and daily food safety checklist compliance
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
