Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well-trained and provides excellent customer service. This role involves active participation in daily operations, support for food safety standards, and development of team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by ensuring hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time/temperature, secondary shelf lives, and daily food safety checklist compliance
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s "Food With Integrity" philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
