Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing the preparation and serving of safe, quality food and providing excellent customer service. This role involves training crew members, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature, and secondary shelf-lives
• Ensure Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies are followed
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment is in working order and order office supplies
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
