Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing safe food preparation, maintaining quality, and training the restaurant crew to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hygiene, time/temperature, and adherence to policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew members
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties, including banking and cash handling
• Ensure office equipment is in working order and order necessary office supplies
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
