The Service Leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing safe food preparation, maintaining quality, and training the restaurant crew to deliver excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety by monitoring hygiene, time/temperature, and adherence to policies
- Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew members
- Assist with Crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties, including banking and cash handling
- Ensure office equipment is in working order and order necessary office supplies
- Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
Requirements
- Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
