Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing safe food preparation and service, training restaurant crew, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues when they arise
• Support food safety by monitoring handwashing, glove changes, time and temperature, and daily checklists
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment is working and order necessary office supplies
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
