The Service Leader at Chipotle ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing food preparation, maintaining quality, and training crew members. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment and supporting food safety.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Help to resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and daily checklists
- Help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Help to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross train all front of house Crew members
- Assist with Crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered
- Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
Requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
