This role is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing safe and quality food preparation and service, and training crew members. The Service Leader will maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety by monitoring time/temperature, secondary shelf lives, and ensuring adherence to policies and checklists
- Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew
- Assist with Crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order
- Order necessary office supplies
- Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- Restaurant experience
