The Service Leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing the preparation and serving of safe, quality food, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
- Resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time, and temperature, and adhering to the Daily Food Safety Checklist
- Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew
- Assist with Crew performance reviews
- Mentor and develop future Service Leaders
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
- Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available
Requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
