Service Leader

About This Role

The Service Leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill ensures a positive customer experience by overseeing the preparation and serving of safe, quality food, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time, and temperature, and adhering to the Daily Food Safety Checklist
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew
• Assist with Crew performance reviews
• Mentor and develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
