Service Leader

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing food safety and quality, as well as developing and training the restaurant crew. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized line with properly functioning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, and adherence to policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews and development of future Service Leaders
• Perform miscellaneous office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and office supplies are ordered as necessary
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• Restaurant experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience is required.
