Service Checker

About This Role

As an H-E-B Checker, you'll provide superior customer service, process transactions accurately, and make customers feel welcome in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and look for ways to go above and beyond customer expectations
• Answer product-related questions for customers and offer additional or alternative products and services
• Process customer transactions of goods and services
• Collect cash, check, or charge payments from customers and make change for cash transactions
• Use electronic scanner to record prices
• Weigh items, bag merchandise, and redeem food stamps and promotional coupons
• Monitor and manage potential front-end shrink
• Perform Customer Service Assistant duties frequently
