Customer Service Assistant

About This Role

The Customer Service Assistant at H-E-B is responsible for packaging groceries, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining store cleanliness. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading merchandise from baskets
• Package groceries and help customers transport purchases to their vehicles
• Assist customers in locating merchandise
• Gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the Store
• Maintain and stock bag areas, and return products to proper locations
• Clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum check stand, Return Center, and CCO areas
• Lift and manage items up to 55 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards
• Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire)
