Service Advisor

About This Role

Serve as the crucial link between customers and technicians, ensuring a smooth and satisfying service experience by advising on maintenance needs and managing service progress.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Greet and consult customers on service needs in a professional manner
• Conduct thorough vehicle walk-around inspections to identify and document concerns
• Advise customers on recommended services and upsell when appropriate
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
• Keep customers informed about their vehicle’s service progress and any changes
• Manage live service calls and ensure customer inquiries are handled promptly
• Review completed services to ensure quality work before delivering the vehicle to the customer
• Process warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state and federal automotive repair laws

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a driving record screening

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience maintaining high customer satisfaction scores (FCA Customer Experience Survey a plus)
• Experience with DealerTrack or FCA Warranty systems
