Senior Technician

About This Role

The Senior Technician will identify, analyze, and resolve obsolescence issues across multiple platforms, ensuring continuous sustainment within a military depot or equivalent environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and solve obsolescence issues across multiple platforms before they impact sustainment
• Access, utilize, interpret, and prepare recommended changes to technical data (including AFTO Form 22s/252s or commercial equivalent)
• Utilize a DMSMS predictive tool to proactively and reactively solve parts obsolescence
• Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings utilizing data repositories such as JEDMICS or commercial equivalent
• Research and provide detailed technical data to support the recommendation of replacement components for items with discontinued production

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting a sustainment environment (military depot or equivalent)
• Experience identifying, analyzing and solving obsolescence issues
• Experience with AFTO Form 22s/252s or commercial equivalent
• Experience utilizing a DMSMS predictive tool
• Experience with JEDMICS or commercial equivalent
• Secret Clearance

Qualifications

• Five years combined experience supporting a sustainment environment such as military depot or equivalent
