This Senior Systems Administrator II position supports a large Federal agency by managing the archiving of Relativity databases, developing and documenting workflow processes, and consulting on system requirements. The role primarily supports IT needs within a legal department.
Responsibilities
- Manage the archiving of Relativity databases
- Develop, manage and document a workflow process to identify, archive, and delete materials according to destruction/deletion policy
- Consult with COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys as to system requirements and proposed technical approach to IT needs
- Determine system and project requirements based on consultations
- Design entire system to meet defined requirements
- Perform systems evaluations
- Make presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations
- Report on contract and task order progress
- Direct and supervise personnel assigned to perform on-task orders, ensuring conformance to work standards and technical design
- Organize and conduct user training sessions on systems developed
Requirements
- Significant Relativity experience including the creation of ARM's (Archive/Restore/Move)
- Ability to create and refine Relativity ARM workflows and standard operating procedures
- Substantial, hands-on, successful experience (at least 5 years) in administering the systems being used
- Broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead a technical team and give direction
- Demonstrated ability to analyze attorneys' needs and design/implement whole system solutions
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree strongly preferred, preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines
- At least five years of substantial, hands-on, successful experience in administering the systems being used. Supervisory experience very strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a litigation support environment
- Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certificate
