This role is for an experienced senior-level Enterprise Architect to support the IT business mission of a large-scale government enterprise’s IT infrastructure. The position involves broadly understanding an organization’s technologies, teaming with leaders for strategic planning, and providing a holistic view of the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Support the IT business mission of a large-scale government enterprise’s IT infrastructure
- Collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment
- Broadly understand an organization’s various technologies
- Team with an organization’s leaders for strategic business mission planning
- Provide a holistic view of the enterprise from different perspectives
- Provide technical engineering practices recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI
- Experience with various EA frameworks, including Zachman, and TOGAF
- Demonstrated engineering abilities in Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud as a service, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, system networking
Qualifications
- Experienced senior-level Enterprise Architect

- VMware server and VDI understanding/experience
- Knowledge of PKI
- MS Windows 2003 Terminal Server
- MS Windows 2008R2 Server
- Cisco UCS
- Broadworks
