This Senior Systems Administrator will manage the archiving of Relativity databases for a large Federal agency, developing and documenting workflows, and consulting with government stakeholders on IT needs. The role involves designing system solutions and leading a technical team to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage the archiving of Relativity databases, developing, managing, and documenting workflow processes for identification, archiving, and deletion of materials
- Consult with COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys on system requirements and proposed technical IT approaches
- Determine system and project requirements based on consultations
- Design entire systems to meet defined requirements
- Perform systems evaluations and present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations
- Consult with COR regarding task orders, scheduling, personnel assignments, priorities, and progress reporting
- Plan, staff, schedule, and develop cost estimates for work performed under task orders
- Direct and supervise personnel assigned to task orders, ensuring conformance to work standards and functional requirements
- Ensure successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control
- Prepare system/technical documentation and organize/conduct user training sessions on systems developed
Requirements
- Significant Relativity experience including creation of ARM (Archive/Restore/Move)
- Ability to create and refine Relativity ARM workflows and standard operating procedures
- Broad knowledge of Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server-based databases and applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines
- At least five years of hands-on, successful experience doing the work on the systems being used
Nice to Have
- Experience in a litigation support environment
- Supervisory experience
- Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certificate
