About This Role

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will secure essential materials, equipment, and services for data center and power generation projects, contributing to environmental impact mitigation and energy transition. Your expertise in procurement and contract management will be crucial for timely and cost-effective delivery of project components.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and analyze product and price data for contract negotiations and conduct comparative analysis of vendor terms and price quotations.
  • Manage all types of source selections including formal, informal, and vendor screening processes.
  • Conduct multiple bid events including RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s simultaneously and prepare bid summaries.
  • Evaluate commercial proposals and provide award recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Locate, qualify, or promote potential new suppliers for services or sources of supply.
  • Manage suppliers awarded under contract against performance KPI’s quarterly.
  • Negotiate and execute a variety of agreements, including Service Orders, Master Service Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and EPC contracts.
  • Administer contracts, including handling modifications and subcontracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate project progress and potential challenges to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years direct procurement experience (Capital Project Procurement or Category Manager)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with contract award, contract modifications, and/or subcontracts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in direct procurement roles, such as Capital Project Procurement, or Category Manager.

Nice to Have

  • Proven experience in purchasing equipment for large-scale capital projects in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience with industry-standard procurement software (e.g., Coupa)
  • Industry certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CPSD, MCIPS, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CTSC
