Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, support, and configure operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows)
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, optimize ETL processes, and work with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Hadoop)
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for data security and integrity
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications across various platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create technical specifications
• Code, test, debug, and maintain applications, as well as integrate third-party services and APIs
• Ensure application security, performance, and user experience

Requirements

• Proficiency in TCP/IP, ETL, DBT, SnowSQL, JSON, Python scripting, HQL queries, Hadoop, Snowflake, HIVE, SQL, SQL Server (Senior Software Data Engineer)
• Experience with AWS, Informatica Power Center, Java, J2EE, Oracle 19c, SQL Server, O-Data, Angular, REST Web Services, Plainsware OR SharePoint, .Net, Entity Framework, Web API, AngularJS, JQuery, JavaScript, Tableau, ETL, UCT (Software Developer)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (for Senior Software Data Engineer) OR Master’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years experience / Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years professional experience (for Software Developer)
• 1+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, system support, and configuration OR 3+ years for Software Developer roles with a Master's degree (5+ years with a Bachelor's degree)
