Senior Service Account Manager

About This Role

Manage and educate Quest Diagnostics' client offices and Commercial staff to analyze billing concerns and prevent patient price concessions. Act as a liaison for customer issues and drive improvements to achieve defined goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and educate Quest Diagnostics' client offices (physicians, nurses, office managers, Quest Vendor Management) and Commercial staff to analyze billing concerns resulting from EMR setup
• Identify client accounts with EMR issues causing Missing Information or Denial inflows that lead to patient price concessions for Revenue Services
• Represent Quest Diagnostics professionally to clients, improving and enhancing their billing experience and reducing rework for their office and inflows for Optum
• Conduct client visits as needed, prioritizing based on analysis and effort required to resolve EMR situations
• Act as a liaison for customer problems, communicating them to the appropriate person or department
• Work with Quest Vendor Management and Implementation teams to test new EMR clients for all billing components (MLCP Checking, ABN generation)
• Collaborate with Front End Billing to ensure IMDB mapping databases are continuously reviewed and updated for accurate data

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 3+ years of healthcare billing experience
• PC and billing systems skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to accommodate up to 10% travel with overnight stays
• Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday during normal business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 3+ years of healthcare billing experience

Nice to Have

• 3+ years of lab billing experience
