This hybrid role involves supporting revenue accounting and month-end close activities, ensuring ASC 606 compliance through contract reviews, revenue analysis, and systems support. The ideal candidate is a technically strong revenue accountant with public accounting or public company experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including allocations, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure revenue recognition compliance under ASC 606 through detailed analysis and technical accounting research under US GAAP and IFRS
- Review customer contracts pre-execution, partner cross-functionally on deal structuring, and document revenue conclusions
- Support RevPro administration and reporting while partnering with external auditors on revenue matters and SOX controls
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and support ad hoc analyses and special projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Nice to Have
- Public accounting or SOX-regulated environment experience
- RevPro experience
- Familiarity with Workday
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools
