Manage the full lifecycle of audio-video integration projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee and perform project management functions for all AVE projects, budgets, and scopes
- Act as the responsible person with direct control over all project activities for assigned projects
- Mentor other Project Managers within the company
- Lead daily activities including project communications, scheduling, and task management for technicians
- Manage deliverables from engineering, CAD, and Programming teams
- Ensure systems integration projects are completed on time, on budget, and achieve high customer satisfaction
- Manage client relationships, including expectations, communications, and satisfaction
- Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, providing clear leadership and ownership
- Monitor labor, equipment, and materials budgets, and project status (cost, timing, staffing)
- Develop and maintain all related project schedules
- Facilitate and direct design reviews to ensure proper documentation and coordinate system programming and final checkout
- Contract with external contractors and other trades when necessary
- Coordinate training and turnover of projects to clients, service department, and sales
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a project manager in commercial construction trades and settings
- Deep knowledge and experience with audio/video systems
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory and people skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people-related problems
- Great people leadership skills
- Strong financial background in project cost accounting
Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a project manager in commercial construction trades and settings
