Support the STARS Quality Team by ensuring products and processes comply with program, company, and regulatory standards throughout product lifecycles. This role involves leading technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide Quality solutions including Basis of Estimates for proposals
- Support program direction to ensure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in program planning
- Identify Quality risks and opportunities for ATS programs; provide and execute plans for mitigation
- Partner with other ATS Quality functions to ensure program requirements are identified and executed appropriately
- Ensure actions to address critical program performance and compliance to requirements have been effectively implemented
- Build relations with Quality or equivalent customer
- Support the Hardware Quality team as needed
Requirements
- Prior program experience across full program lifecycle
- Experience with Microsoft office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience
Qualifications
- University Degree or Advanced Degree in a related field
- Typically requires minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or minimum 3 years with an Advanced Degree
Nice to Have
- Experience in engineering processes, in systems engineering or quality, or related fields
- Experience in proposals and bidding inputs for Quality or other functional organization
- Independent, self-motivated individual with demonstrated success
- Working knowledge in Air Traffic Systems
- Proven ability as BOE Writer and Approver
- Strong presentation skills and proven success communicating at all levels
- Experience with factory systems and software (e.g., PRISM, SAP, and Windchill)
