About This Role

Assess, repair, test, and document avionics materials in an FAA-regulated environment, utilizing various electronic equipment and troubleshooting techniques. This role involves high-level technical work, requiring strong analytical skills and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers
  • Follow written procedures and demonstrate proper use of hand tools and measuring devices
  • Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
  • Troubleshoot and test repair units
  • Use electronic test and troubleshooting equipment
  • Utilize SAP and other MRO computer programs
  • Participate on project teams
  • Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures
  • Conduct written and verbal communication with technicians, engineering, and leadership within the MRO
  • Responsible for moderate level of planning

Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • Electronics background with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.

Nice to Have

  • AAS degree in electronics
  • Prior military experience
  • 2+ years experience with aviation manufacturing or repair
  • Ability to obtain Preliminary MRB (Materials Review Board) authorization
  • Experience reviewing CMM/SB (Compliance Maintenance Manual/Service Bulletin) documentation and creating mark-ups
