As a Senior Product Manager on the Client Core Team, you will advance the Windows platform to be more performant and scale across various hardware scenarios. This role involves collaborating with internal/external partners and hardware OEMs to integrate new technologies into Windows.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external and internal partner teams to drive clarity, ensure execution on parallel work streams, and coordinate communication.
- Partner with developers to remove roadblocks and enable efficient work, serving as a point of contact for feature areas and partner team requests.
- Drive features from inception based on customer and industry partner feedback, through planning and completion, to industry adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
Nice to Have
- 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Genuine passion and interest in the technical challenges of core operating systems
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Strong customer focus
- Empathy and compassion in communication and collaboration
- Experience with hardware and/or C programming
