Senior Manager Business Performance

About This Role

This role will shape the Precision Medicine organization's publication strategy and support execution, working directly with Precision Medicine Leads and Therapeutic Area Heads. The position involves tracking publications, identifying data for publication, and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the planning, development, and execution of precision medicine (PMed) and biomarker-focused publication strategies
• Oversee the end-to-end development of high-impact publications across multiple therapeutic areas
• Partner closely with Computational Biology, Clinical Development, Scientific Communications, and other stakeholders to coordinate PMed publication activities
• Lead quarterly PMed publication reviews for each Therapeutic Area and track PMed Publication metrics
• Identify and internalize AI capabilities to make publication writing in PMed efficient and scalable
• Provide mentorship and training to internal teams on PMed publication practices

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology or related scientific field; or master’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree
• 2-8 years of scientific publication writing experience depending on education level (PhD: 2+ years, Master's: 4+ years, Bachelor's: 8+ years)

Nice to Have

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with 4 years of work experience writing scientific communications in the biopharmaceutical industry
• 1 or more years of experience in R&D with good knowledge of clinical development or biomarker assay development
• Background in Clinical Research, Biology, Oncology, Cardiovascular Disease, Inflammation, or related field
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proven experience in running meetings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of digital literacy with a variety of tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Miro, MS Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, SharePoint)
