About This Role

This Senior Clinic LPN role provides direct patient care and supervises clinic staff, ensuring the coordination of daily clinic functions. The position is vital to making communities healthier by delivering exceptional care within Starr Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice
• Supervise clinic staff
• Assist with the coordination of daily functions of the clinic
• Collect and document patient intake data
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Provide patient support considering emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious, and economic influences
• Assist with routine clinic support activities
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
• Maintain appropriate, safe, and therapeutic environment per clinic policy
• Coordinate nursing staff to facilitate accessibility and continuity of care
• Coordinate requests of physicians and office staff regarding patient activities and needs
• Perform Athena Super User role
• Assist with Quality Controls of all Point of Care testing
• Provide support for staffing when management is unavailable

Requirements

• Current LPN license to practice in Tennessee
• BCLS (Health Care Provider) certification
• 6 years clinical experience
• Critical thinking skills
• Decisive judgement
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program
• 6 years clinical experience
