Senior Financial Analyst

About This Role

This Senior Financial Analyst role provides P&L ownership for product categories within Power Tools, supporting marketing leadership with financial analysis, costing, and pricing strategy. The analyst will partner with finance leaders to achieve annual financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support, and guidance for Power Tool Categories and Engineering
• Partner with business leaders to analyze monthly activity, build monthly forecasts, and communicate results
• Work with cross-functional departments to develop strategic product and customer road maps
• Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes, and models to provide meaningful information
• Develop peer relationships with other BU category leaders to drive consistency in reporting, analysis, and operational procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous process improvement by identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities and streamlining processes
• Manage multiple processes and prioritize appropriately
• Assist in preparation of rolling 18-month forecast

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience
• Critical thinking
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels and functions within the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel knowledge
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience
