About This Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Electrophysiology Medical Device division in St. Paul, MN, focusing on Capital & Technical Services and Minnesota Facilities. This role involves managing capital inventory, developing the Capital Service P&L, and providing financial reporting and analysis to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of the process for managing Capital inventory
  • Assist in the further development of the Capital Service P&L
  • Support Capital Services & facilities teams with month-end reporting and analysis
  • Provide updates for each budget cycle and ad hoc analysis for leadership
  • Prepare financial presentation content for executive meetings
  • Participate in various projects or tasks
  • Assist with monthly financial closing activities
  • Prepare financial models and presentations supporting quarterly LBE forecasting cycles
  • Perform budgeting and forecasting, profit and loss, market modeling, sales analysis, business development, gross margin, capital, exchange, headcount, and other P&L facets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling
  • Previous experience working with Hyperion Essbase, SAP and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with financial systems applications
  • Previous experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling
