Senior Facilities Manager

About This Role

Oversee the daily operation of data centers and critical infrastructure, managing internal and external resources to ensure exceptional customer experience and compliance with CyrusOne procedures and standards. This role involves managing relationships with third-party facility management providers and implementing customer orders and build-outs within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of data centers and critical infrastructure
• Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance program for the region
• Provide direction to site teams on incident resolution
• Coordinate with third-party facility management concerning staff management and training
• Maintain Operations Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
• Manage vendors working within data centers
• Manage asset tracking processes and systems
• Lead local incident management process from inception to final RCA documentation
• Maintain current and future status reporting on all capacity thresholds
• Manage customer implementations and support the Sales Organization
• Act as single point of contact for local customer issues
• Lead and direct facility tours for new customer deals
• Manage all internal and external monthly reporting required from the region
• Manage OPEX and create CAPEX plans for equipment maintenance and replacement

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in managing and maintaining critical infrastructure, preferably in a data center environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of people within the organization
• Ability to direct and manage work groups
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to develop and document procedures and train personnel
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field (equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree)
• 7+ years experience in managing and maintaining critical infrastructure, preferably in a data center environment, and 10+ years supervisory or personnel management experience preferred
