Senior Estimator

About This Role

Join Lithko Contracting as a Senior Estimator, providing critical support to the Estimating team and Pre-Construction Lead. Your role will involve all aspects of estimating for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Establish estimates with appropriate alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production, and wage rates in alignment with the bid strategy
• Develop conceptual estimates from limited information, ensuring the inclusion of accurate alternates, general conditions, and pricing
• Perform detailed take-offs by identifying and quantifying all concrete scope items
• Create comprehensive customer proposals that include precise scope, terms, conditions, and a detailed breakdown of bid pricing
• Deliver accurate project information to the team during turnover and planning phases to ensure seamless project execution
• Guide estimators and project coordinators in task assignments, proper use of processes, and tools, validating the accuracy and completeness of estimates produced by the team
• Ensure that the operations team receives correct and detailed information necessary for effective project execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large-scale self-perform General Contractors or concrete contractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects valued over $1 million
• Solid understanding of construction principles, as well as experience with both negotiated and hard bid processes
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large-scale self-perform General Contractors or concrete contractors.
