Senior Engineer

About This Role

Provide engineering and consulting services for a variety of projects, leading technical analysis, design, and reporting while ensuring quality and safety standards. This role requires overseeing less experienced engineers and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients
• Lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations
• Design and develop plans and specifications, and perform observation and inspection
• Write, prepare, and review related reports for services provided
• Review drawings and construction to assure compliance with plans and specifications
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track project progress and budgets
• Conceptualize initial designs and investigative approaches for major phases of large projects
• Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure adherence to safety rules and guidelines
• Monitor and promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 8-11 years’ experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status
