Senior Electrical Engineer

About This Role

Lead complex building-services projects and shape the electrical practice for a multidisciplinary engineering firm. This role involves technical leadership, client interaction, and creating sustainable designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for building-services projects from concept through delivery
• Produce and review calculations, specifications, and design documentation
• Collaborate directly with clients, architects, and internal project teams
• Support proposals and business development with technical insight
• Mentor junior engineers and help raise technical standards across the team
• Contribute to sustainable, high-performance building solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for building services
• Strong technical grounding in power, lighting, and building systems
• Comfortable working in Revit and modern design/analysis tools
• Confident communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-engineers
• Experience managing multiple projects without losing quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for building services

Nice to Have

• P.E. licensure
• LEED AP or sustainability experience
• Exposure to sectors like higher education, commercial, cultural, or transportation
