Senior Electrical Engineer

About This Role

Lead complex electrical engineering projects from planning through completion, providing functional leadership and comprehensive building engineering solutions for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Engineer of Record (EOR) and guide team members through specific project phases like technical studies and design.
• Lead coordination processes between different trades.
• Coordinate directly with designers, owners, and contractors on projects.
• Perform or plan engineering programs to achieve project requirements.
• Organize project teams as necessary.
• Control expenditures within project budget limitations.
• Review calculation output from software to verify accuracy.
• Mentor team members on engineering principles and their application.
• Coordinate activities for completing technical documents, including resolving design and technical problems.
• Lead and participate in field work for highly technical projects and clients.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience and/or training
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced financial knowledge to perform complex calculations and deliver thorough financial analysis
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university (ABET Accredited)
• 15+ years of related experience and/or training.
